Coated Work Gloves (PU, Nitrile, Latex, Neoprene, PVC) Coated Work Gloves have a coating to cover your palm & fingers for hand protection or extra grip. Some coatings are Neoprene which is impermeable to gases and vapors and resists ozone, sun and weather. It is well-suited for use with alcohols, acids, ketones, detergents, and greases. Another coating is Latex which offers gripping power in wet and dry conditions. It is liquid resistant and provides protection against punctures. Nitrile is also used and is a synthetic rubber developed as a substitute to natural rubber. It protects against organic solvents, oils, bases, and animal fats. It provides resistance to abrasion, snags, punctures, and cuts. Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC, Vinyl, Plastic) is the thermoplastic polymer of Vinyl and Chloride. PVC provides hand protection against caustics, acids, bases, detergents and solvents. It is resistance to most acids, oils, animal fats, caustics, petroleum hydrocarbons, and alcohols.
